The French Fort Duquesne was confronted with a British assault on Sept. 11, 1758 led by General James Grant with 850 men. The French left as victors as Grant was taken captive. With more British troops on the way, the French deserted the stronghold and the location became the site of the British Fort Pitt.

Wonderful Color!

Back in my early school years, the use of a fountain pen was expected by young gentlemen. At the time, I didn't think much about it but the feel of writing was something I enjoyed, This particular blue reminds me very much of the shade of blue I wrote with and evokes many nostalgic memories of the time spent at my Lycée. It is a pleasure to write with and flows beautifully.
