Every batch of Birmingham fountain pen ink is manufactured by hand in-house from a series of raw ingredients selected for quality and consistency. Each bottle is poured, capped, and labeled by hand.

We do our best to ship all orders excluding pens within 2-5 business days. While we polish, package, and ship pens as fast as possible, please allow up to 2-3 weeks for pens made in-house to depart the workshop.

* When FedEx/UPS is selected, we determine the carrier based on package weight and destination. Generally, standard orders ship by FedEx and large orders within the continental USA ship by UPS.

PO Box delivery addresses must select USPS. When an alternate carrier is selected for a PO Box we will manually update the carrier to USPS.

International & U.S. Territories / Islands
As we work to navigate the quickly growing list of international tax complexities involved with retailing to customers in many countries, our current international shipping options are very limited. All international shipping rates are calculated live at checkout based on weight and destination, shipped by UPS or USPS. International customers are responsible for any customs, tariff, brokerage fees, etc. that may be assessed. Inquire with your relevant local governing agencies for details.
