Individually prepared by hand in 30ml glass bottles, Birmingham Writing Ink delivers an exquisite writing experience while each bottle shares a unique part of our Pittsburgh history.
I wasn’t sure about this color, so I just bought a sample size. It’s spectacular! Chartreuse with a dark undertone, and dark enough to read well. I’ll be ordering the full sized bottle. Smooth writing and wet enough but not soggy.
Gunpowder Tea? I'm thinking...
Dark Mustard. strikingly different, some feathering noted but no other major downsides to this ink. 1 star off for the feathering. No flow issues so I'm of the opinion that the first reviewer's use of the 1.1 nib made the ink seem wetter but this was not my experience with a fine nib. Just a good flowing ink with the aforementioned feathering. Drying time adequate. Maybe a "Greenlee Field Hotdog Red" to accompany this color?
Great shopping and order fulfillment. This ink is wet and writes great in my new TWSBI GO 1.1 nib. Very unique color. Dark enough to read it and stands out as a statement ink! Thanks for great service.
