♛ FIRST EDITION RELEASE ♛
Only 15 total units available
This pen has sold out quickly after release,
we can't tell you how much we appreciate your support!
(Edit: Nick says he can tell you how much he appreciates it, and it's A LOT.)
Be first to conquer the semi-translucent granite acrylic masterpiece that is the Sixth Avenue El Capitán fountain pen! This material is special in that it's unique semi-translucent composition causes the pen to photograph somewhat darker on black backgrounds and lighter on white. The acrylic is sanded, buffed, and polished by hand to release a subtle depth that's difficult to capture on film. When capped and held at particular angles the nib is lightly visible through a smoky hue.
Since this is a brand new release, each of the first 15 units will include a special First Edition hand stamped letterpress Certificate of Authenticity with the unique index number of your pen in the opening lot. Each El Capitán fountain pen includes your choice of German nib installed, removable German ink converter, unique FIRST EDITION index number, & hand-stamped Certificate of Authenticity.
For the caliber of machinery and manual labor that goes into producing each piece, our price point is very competitive industry wide for a U.S. made wholly acrylic fountain pen fully machined from raw stock. Acrylic is a particularly difficult material to work with since it's hard like glass, has a low tinsel strength, and can be prone to melting if the machining feed, speed, and tooling aren't calibrated correctly. Dad and Nick have spent countless hours designing custom tools and adjusting the fabrication process to produce a rigid, functional, and beautiful output.
Every heirloom quality El Capitán fountain pen includes our 100% satisfaction guarantee and lifetime warranty.
