Ironsides, Mint

A virtually indestructible writing fortress, the hefty Ironsides is our very first alloy fountain pen. The Mint variant features a cheerfully teal clip and nib. Fully machined by Dad from a high-grade stainless steel rod, each fabricated part undergoes at least 3 finishing steps prior to assembly of the section, barrel, cap, and threaded finial. Every piece includes a proprietary pocket clip shaped by hand in-house on Nick's homemade clip jig.

Each pen is built to order with your choice of 8 nib options. Pocket clips on the Ironsides are swappable post-purchase; we plan to have a variety of clip finishes available in the future beyond the two options we have today. A removable full-size ink converter comes installed. 

Since this is a Production pen release, each piece is assigned a unique engraved index number with matching hand-stamped letterpress Certificate of Authenticity. The unique index number indicates the year, month, and day the pen was completed, along with its individual place within the day's production... making every engraving one-of-a-kind. All of our fountain pens include a removable ink converter and choice of nib installed.
