For the caliber of machinery and manual labor that goes into producing each piece, our price point is very competitive industry wide for a U.S. made wholly acrylic fountain pen fully machined from raw stock. Acrylic is a particularly difficult material to work with since it's hard like glass, has a low tensile strength, and can be prone to melting if the machining feed, speed, and tooling aren't calibrated correctly. Dad and Nick have spent countless hours designing custom tools and adjusting the fabrication process to produce a rigid, functional, and beautiful output.
