Traditionally, ink sampling has required a significant investment. Small sample vials, each containing a couple milliliters of ink, can cost anywhere between $0.50 to nearly $1.50 per mL. The cost of exploration quickly adds up. Moreover, managing multiple sample vials, each needing to be accurately labeled and organized, presents its own set of challenges.

We believed there had to be a better way. That's why we've developed Atomink Elements, a pioneering approach to fountain pen ink sampling that is both cost-effective and delivers nearly limitless color potential.

Atomink Elements are foundational ink colors that have been meticulously crafted for blending. By offering these elements, we are putting the power of creation in your hands, enabling you to mix and match to your heart's content. You can soon reproduce any hue in our catalog using Atomink Elements and our published mixing recipes. Look for the Sample Recipe accordion in every fountain pen ink bottle listing to reproduce a given hue. We're in the process of publishing a unique formula for each color, a process we should have completed within several weeks. 

Here's the best part: our inks average only $0.17 to $0.35 per mL, a fraction of the cost of traditional sample vials. This new approach allows you to mix the exact volume you need. You can create just enough for an ink swatch, or produce a larger volume to fill your favorite fountain pen for everyday use. No more piles of plastic waste from consuming just a few dozen milliliters of ink.
